The first of our Annual Gala events is being held in Nashville TN (the home of country music) in April of 2022.he event will comprise of an entire weekend of fun.
There will be much excitement when, on the Friday evening, we gather at the pedestrian bridge, hug old friends, and meet new ones. There will be lots of talking as we walk over to see some of the famous spots in downtown Nashville. We will learn to line dance at a saloon, take in some honky-tonk, and feast on some Nashville hot chicken with goo goo clusters for dessert.
Saturday morning will take the form of a craft or flea market, as we call them in South Africa, with all sorts of products for sale, produced by South Africans living in the USA. Shop ’til you drop, then take the afternoon off to get ready for the gala event.
On arrival at the ballroom, everyone will feel like royalty walking in on the red carpet. Great conversation, awards, scrumptious food, delicious wines, and gorgeous humans – what more can one ask for?
Last, but most definitely not least, on Sunday morning the Nashville Tannies will be hosting a ‘South African tea’ and will dance the Jerusalema for us.
